1. Nature of the Service
Roy People Search is a private reference that describes and links to public records, court indexes, directories, and lookup portals serving Roy, Utah. It does not host government records and has no affiliation with Roy City, Weber County, Utah agencies, courts, or record custodians.
2. Acceptable Use Rules
You must use the service and anything reached through it lawfully. Prohibited conduct includes attempts to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions (credit, employment, tenant, insurance)
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale

3. No Consumer Reports
Roy People Search is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. ยง 1681 et seq.). Neither its content nor results from a linked or embedded search tool are consumer reports. 4. External Services
Government portals, library databases, and third-party services, including sponsored tools, operate under their own terms. We do not control their content, uptime, prices, results, or data handling.

The service is offered "as is" and "as available" without express or implied warranties. No promise is made that content is complete, accurate, or current, or that a linked records portal will remain available and return correct results.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of Roy People Search, a linked resource, or a decision based on information reached through either.
7. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the site's operators harmless from claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys' fees, caused by misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
8. Site Content Rights
Copyright protects the original text, design, logo, and layout. You may link to a page or quote a short excerpt with credit, but you may not republish whole pages or systematically copy the content.

If one provision cannot be enforced, every remaining provision stays in effect.
