Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies the results. Roy People Search does not save a copy of those queries on its own servers. If you send a message, we receive the details you choose to provide and use them to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems may record ordinary technical logs, including an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregated logs help maintain the service and show which Roy record topics are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How the Data Is Used
These limited data support site operation, error diagnosis, traffic measurement, and content improvements. We do not sell a visitor list or create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to Roy City, Weber County and Utah portals, court systems, library collections, and outside search services. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that destination's policy. The same is true for sponsored results supplied through a third-party search company.
Parties That May Process Data
Hosting and support providers process technical logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Data may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it; we do not otherwise distribute visitor information.
Safeguarding Limited Data
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are kept only as long as necessary for the stated purposes. Roy People Search has no user accounts, so it stores no account password or personal profile.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. Contact us if you believe a person under 18 submitted such data so it can be removed.
Your Utah Privacy Rights
The Utah Consumer Privacy Act, Title 13, Chapter 61, gives qualifying consumers rights that can include access, deletion, a copy, and certain opt-outs when the law applies to a covered controller. A covered controller generally must respond within 45 days and may take one additional 45-day extension when reasonably needed. Use the Contact page for a request concerning our mailbox or logs. Government records held by Roy City, Weber County, or Utah remain under the custodian's control.
